Responsibilities
- Develop video ideas and content concepts
- Research technical topics and understand developer products
- Write engaging scripts for short-form and long-form content
- Turn complex technical concepts into simple, compelling stories
- Develop hooks, narratives and creative directions
- Work with the host and video editor throughout production
- Help plan and oversee the production of videos
- Continuously experiment with new content formats
Requirements
- Strong writing and storytelling skills
- Good understanding of coding and software
- Ability to understand APIs, developer tools and technical concepts
- Strong curiosity and willingness to research unfamiliar topics
- Understanding of what makes content engaging
- Ability to think creatively rather than simply follow templates
- Previous video production experience is a plus
